Software engineer with a soft spot for hardware

I am Bas Bakens, a software engineer from Deurne in the Netherlands. I study HBO-ICT at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven.

My work sits where software meets hardware: light, sound, sensors and real-time processing. Examples are Symphony of Life, Echoes of Tomorrow and ELLIE – Contour Wall.

I also build web applications and apps, from database to interface. Tripperz is my own product: a Flutter app with a Spring Boot backend.

Through this site I am happy to connect about an internship, a job or a good conversation. Business work goes through my company Bakens Digital.
